Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands - Culta's Prisoner
Another prisoner interview. This time in the small village of Culta.
I opted for approaching from the southern cliffs to get a good vantage point and be able to snipe my way through the cartel members without alerting the whole camp.
![]() |
| 1. Landing area. 2 recon and sniping line. |
The prisoner is located in the church, I guess it is possible to enter it stealthy without eliminating all hostiles first. But I like sniping so I tend to go for the overkill approach.
At one point, two car arrived in the camp and alerted everyone. I have no idea how that happened as there was no indication of trouble before that.
Beware of the sniper on the church roof.
If you stay on the cliffs, then even if you get spotted on the ground, you will be able to keep them on a distance, only approach after you have removed all hostiles from the area. I.e. the all clear from your team.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands - Amaru's Escape
Two part mission where we will start with questioning a Santa Blanca lieutenant that is located in the hills in the middle of Itacua.
There are different ways to do this, during my first playthrough I entered from the West and moved towards East through the camp. The lieutenant fled when he noticed what was going on and there was a chase to get him.
My load out for this mission:
![]() |
| Pink enter by car and park at 1. Blue is where the lieutenant is. 3 should be the whole area of operation needed. Once interrogation is done, leave same way you came. |
I parked my vehicle behind a rock and used the drone to spot enemies.
When the cartel noticed me, the lieutenant fled right towards me and I was able to catch him before he entered a car. I dragged him back to my car and interrogated him behind the same rock.
Part two.
I started with getting a helicopter to make the mission a little easier. One is located downhill to the east. There is actually no need to get a helicopter at this point. You can just as well enter by car or foot.
![]() |
| 1, leave you vehicle here. Blue line can be used for scouting with drone and sniping cartel members. |
Move to the mission area and park you vehicle to the south out of vision from the cartel house.
Enter the bush-line and use your drone to spot enemies. Once you are comfortable with spotting. start sniping the lonely walkers first. I.e. those who wander the longest way from their friends, i.e. cull the herd.
If you get noticed at any point, just move to a different position in the bushes. Moving 20 meter can keep the men that are investigating a sound or hunting you from finding you. And you will have the possibility to flank them once they get closer to your previous position. Be a ghost.
Last part of the mission is to extract Amaru. There is a helicopter to the north of the house and you should just be able to fly all the way to the northern safe-house with little interruption.
Happy hunting!

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Scope T5Xi Tactical
No sniper rifle is better then the scope that it has. So lets get the best (at least in my opinion)...
Located in Koani with no guards at all. Just get a helicopter and fly there... Recommend the farm in mid-south Itacua for helicopter. Fly low, there are SAM sites on the path.
Set a waypoint as seen in the following map (the green circle), and head there. You could even land right in the compound. I landed a bit outside to recon but at least for me it was empty. Chose your risk level yourself.

Other Weapons easily reachable when starting out:
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Weapon ACR
This time we will get the ACR, my favorite assault rifle in Wildlands. Totally obtainable at a low level, you just have to be careful of what you do when you try to reach the location of the ACR.
Start out by getting a helicopter. If you do not know where, then there is a large farm in mid-south Itacua where there almost always is a helicopter waiting. Just drive there and take off.
![]() |
| Farm in mid-south Itacua where you can get a helicopter |
Start by flying to Agua Verde and the North Western point of the huge lake. You should be able to find the small delta of the river that goes across Media Luna.

Fly low in the ravine, there are some tricky parts when passing under some bridges but just keep a slow and steady pace and you should be OK.

Land at the landing zone marked above (preferably do not crash like I did in the movie), sneak over the the Recon area also marked on the map and use your drone to scout the area. Should be a lot of Unidad troops. At this point I hope you already got the M40A5 sniper rifle from Itacua, otherwise this will get tricky.
After you have marked them all, Sync Shoot the ones in the tower. Followed by the box in the alarm tower.
After that you should be able to snipe and sync shoot the rest, start from the east. They will hunt you if they find a body, and they probably will. But as you are on high ground on the other side of the river, you should be OK. Just keep sniping the troops and then move along the assault path down to the river and cross it from opposite side of the docks.
Just sneaky sneaky up (or run, as you should have sniped all enemies) and get the Weapons Cache. Located close to the bunker at the westernmost side of the base.
And that's how you get the ACR in Ghost Recon Wildlands when starting out the game with a low level character!
Other Weapons easily reachable when starting out:
- Weapon MG121
- Weapon M40A5
- Weapon Super Shorty
- Weapon M1911
- Weapon 556xi
- Weapon M1891

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Weapon M4A1
Time to get a little more punch in the Assault Rifle category, the M4A1, a classic.
The gun itself is located in Flor de Oro, at the Armadillo Hunting Lodge. To get there, we will be flying. If you just completed the M1891 then you already have wings and can just take of with the supply plane and parachute to the landing zone.
You can of course land a helicopter on the same ledge or approach the area by car and climb the hill... parachuting was just a nice effect for the movie : ) .

This time we will run into some resistance for the first time. Do the scouting with your drone and select a target when he wanders out of view from his mates and neutralize it.
There will be reinforcements if you get spotted, I did but managed to complete it with the one revive that I had.
I try not to add any extra skills even if they are available so that it is realistic to get these items when you start out the game.. i.e. when you do not have anything.
And that's how you get the M4A1 in Wildlands.
Other Weapons easily reachable when starting out:
- Weapon MG121
- Weapon M40A5
- Weapon Super Shorty
- Weapon M1911
- Weapon 556xi
- Weapon M1891

- Weapon ACR
- Scope T5Xi Tactical
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Weapon M1891
Next weapon to get on low level is the M1891 sniper rifle in La Cruz. For this mission it is easier if you get a helicopter. So lets do that first and at the same time get the ATPIAL Laser Sight for SMGs.

Exit the house and clear the remaining 3 Santa Blanca members from the fields with your silenced weapon and lastly steal the helicopter

Once the shooting begins, move fast and secure the area and hopefully you will have a plane to steal at the end of this as well.
The M1891 sniper is located at the end of the makeshift runway.
So there. Another sniper acquired. Not one of my favorites as it can equip suppressors, and thus does not suite my play-style that well. But it has stopping power so it could be used to shoot engine blocks of resource convoys.
While you are here, why not steal the plane and get the M4A1 as well?
Other Weapons easily reachable when starting out:

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Second Save Slot Weapons Cache Bug

When creating a second character (save slot) in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands there seems to be an annoying bug, at least on Xbox One.
When trying to get Weapons Caches, they do not activate. You will be able to press Y to open Loadout menu but not the actual cache. They do not appear on the minimap or tactical map either.
To solve this, I had to
- logout the second save slot,
- switch to the first save slot and load the game.
- and then switch back to the second save slot.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Weapon 556xi
Another weapon that can be reached quite easily by a low level operator is the 556xi Assault Rifle located in Western caimanes, just to the east of the M1911 pistol in the previous post.

If you approach from the north, there will be no resistance and you should be able to sneak down into the pit and retrieve the 556xi from the Weapons Cache without being spotted. If you want to be sure, take out the snipers in the towers beforehand.
Other Weapons easily reachable when starting out:
- Weapon MG121
- Weapon M40A5
- Weapon Super Shorty

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Weapon M1911

The actual farm is lightly guarded. This time only by 2 Santa Blanca, but I've seen a third other times.. In the fields so be sure to scout the area with your drone before entering.
Take out the enemies near the helicopter and steal it afterwards and get the 556xi next!

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Weapon Super Shorty

It is located at the docks of a Unidad base in the East of Itacua, close to the river.
I found the best entry is to actually enter the area to the west of Itacua called Ocoro. From there move close to the river and scout the area with the drone. There should not be that much activity down at the docks, just one or two Unidad soldiers (I ran into one).
Enter the docks by swimming across the river following the green path on the map. Just sneak up to the roof of the building to find the weapons cache containing the Super Shorty

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Weapon M40A5
If you want a sniper rifle to start out with, there is one located in Itacua. I Actually started next to it the first play through as it is at Itacua Echo safe house.

It is a nice bolt action rifle with a suppressor from the start. The scope could be a bit better but it does its job.

It is located in southern Itacua in a small Santa Blanca base in the mountains.

After you have tagged all Santa Blanca troops in the area (or as many as you feel comfortable with), take out the two snipers in the towers.
Follow the GREEN path down and enter the base near the helipad. Neutralize the patrol there silently and you can loot the weapons cache without disturbance.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - Bonus Episode - Revenge from beyond the grave - Solo challenge

Part 1
Head to Libertad, and the village of Pa Kollu. Here you will find the house and road that is the background for the challenge screen. See the picture above.Head out of the village through the cemetery and run up to the lonely house called La Guarida de Tres Brujas (translates to 'The Three Witches' Lair')

Part 2
Next part is to collect 3 tokens from around the region to the north of the house. The first shrine is located on a small hill in the fields to the north-east of the witch house.

Second shrine is located to the west, on a rocky beach at the lake.

The last shrine is located at the marsh-lake to the north

Part 3

This part can only be completed at night time (2200 - 0400 game time). Head back to the village of Pa Kollu. Best is to approach from the south-east hills.
- Take out the heavies located at the blue circles in the map above, with Synch-shots.
- Take out the rebel located just below the hills on the outskirts of the village, he will try to kill your target and that is not good.
- Move to the cover.
- Equip flashbangs
- Mark heavies surrounding the target
- Take out the two last heavies yourself
- Target will try to flee through the backdoor, so throw a flashbang or two at him. Run up to him and grab him. He will try to shoot you if you do not flashbang him first.
- Transport him back to the witch hut.
- Place him in front of the shrine and spill his blood to complete the challenge
Not many days left of this challenge, but I hope this helps someone out there!

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - BONUS The Jungle Moved
All of a sudden there is a new mission available.. And not an easy mission at all.
This mission took me almost 2 hours to beat, the video is condensed to about 50 minutes. The last complete try took about 12 minutes, when you know what to do and everything works out..
Hopefully this guide can help you a little bit on the way on this mission that makes you feel like Arnold Schwarzenegger!
The Jungle Moved Walkthrough
2 tactics that seem to work.Grenade launcher addon to your assault rifle and the Desert Tech HTI BDC.
First time I almost beat it I did a combo of both, started out with Grenade launcher in the beginning and after I ran out of ammunition I changed to the sniper rifle. The only reason I did not beat it was that I was a too slow runner in the end. 10 meters from beating it. When I completed it, I only used the Desert Tech HTI BDC.
OK. So now that we have the gear, lets look at how to play this.
- First visit the girl on the river bank to start the mission chain. Bring a helicopter and try to not get a radar hit from the SAM launchers in the area.
- Fly to the 3 different investigation locations and figure out what is going on. If you know your movies, should not be that hard.
- Fly to the new fourth investigation location. Do not enter the area just yet, land just outside of it.
- Call for Guns for Hire (hopefully you have maxed it at this point)
- Fly your drone into the area and find the lowest point and call for Diversion (maxing this helps as well.. the more people you can surround yourself with, the better)
- Enter the lowest area and find a tree, you will be doing laps around it for the rest of the mission. Keep moving.
- Change to Heat Vision. At least I thought it was easier to identify the predator this way. Also easier to spot the void when he is cloaked and running around.
- Now the mission should have changed to 'Kill the predator'
- Keep lapping the tree and whenever you see the predator or see the laser beam, take a shot with the sniper or grenade launcher. Head-shots preferably.
- The predator has a lot of health or armor so this will take a while, whenever he locks on you, move behind the tree and take move a few meters from it to not be hit by the explosion.
- When the predator goes down, move closer to make sure that he is dead.
- Just run past him and continue the closest way out from the yellow area or you will die by the self destruct sequence

I played this mission on Tier 38, it may play out differently on other levels. The rebel soldiers helped with shooting at the predator and the predator took shots at the rebels and my team. This might be different on other levels.
All in all, a very fun mission. Hopefully not the last one that is a little different.
